Press Release

Teatro Vista is set to present the world premiere of Ike Holter’s newest play The Wolf at The End of The Block, on Sat, Feb. 4 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theatre. Tickets available here.

The Wolf at The End of The Block is set in the same fictional, South side Chicago neighborhood as Ike’s more recent works above, and is an of-this-very-moment look at racial profiling and police abuse in Chicago, with gritty, hyper-real story line that is incredibly timely.

The lead character, the victim of profiling and police abuse, is played by Gabriel Ruiz one of the busiest, current greats among young Chicago Latino stage actors. You’ll also love the role that fellow Teatro Vista ensemble member Sandra Marquez plays a Latina reporter, popular and well-respected, known for breaking the biggest news happening in the streets of Chicago.

The Wolf at The End of The Block boasts some of Chicago’s top Latinx stage talent on stage and behind the scenes.
