Zuzuka Poderosa hit the Chicago scene like a lightning bolt with her unstoppable electrifying energy. As part of her ‘Zuzuka Power Tour: Roofless and Ruthless’ and FMEL’s closing night, she made a stop at Taxim’s in Wicker Park to mesmerize a crowd of over a hundred with her lyrical velocity and Carioca Bass flavor. Singing mainly in Portuguese, the hyperkinetic Brazilian-Indonesian born, Brooklyn-based Carioca Bass diva has created a sound as infectious as her personality.
